The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Friday, March 3, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over the northern cities during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 41°C and 18 – 23°C respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected over most parts of the central cities except Lokoja, Makurdi and Ilorin axis which are likely to experience isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 40°C and 16 – 27°C respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected over the inland and the coastal cities of the south in the morning hours. Later in the day, there are prospects of localised thundery showers over places such as Lagos, Akure, Oshogbo, Shaki, Abeokuta, Ibadan and Ado Ekiti during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 35 – 40°C and 24 – 27°C respectively.
