Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu
Annoyed by the extrajudicial killings of Nigerians in South Africa, the Senate has directed the Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, to lead a seven-man high-powered delegation to South African parliament to talk on xenophobic attacks on Nigerians.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki, made the announcement atWednesday’splenary followingTuesday’sresolution by the Senate to engage the South African parliament.
However, other members of the delegation include Senate Leader, Ahmad Lawan and senators Olusola Adeyeye, Stella Oduah, Shehu Sani, Shaaba Lafiagi and Magnus Abe.
