
Senior lawyer and activist Yahaya Mahmood (SAN), who died last night after a brave battle with partial stroke as a result of High Blood Pressure, will be buried this morning according to Islamic rites.
As reported last night by News Express, Mahmood died around 6:30pm in his office along Bank Road in Kaduna, North-West Nigeria.
He died while resting on a sofa in his office, aged 61.
Family sources later told News Express that the late legal luminary would be buried by 9am today at his Ribadu Road residence near Almannar Masjid Kaduna.
Condolence messages have been pouring in for the late Principal Partner of Arewa Law Chambers, a native of Zaria Emirate in Kaduna State. Below are the messages posted on his Facebook wall by some mourners:
