The audition train of the talent discovery reality television show, Nigeria’s Got Talent Season 2, hits Lagos this weekend. It holds today and tomorrow (October 26 and 27, at the Box Studio, Omole Phase 1.
Sponsored by the telecommunications company Airtel, the Lagos audition follows earlier ones held in various regions in the country aimed at exposing the huge talent that abound in the country and placing them in the world map.
The audition train started in Abuja, then moved to Calabar, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Asaba, Benin and Ibadan, before berthing in the country’s entertainment capital, Lagos. Like other regions, the audition is expected to pool gifted Nigerians with various gifts and talent to showcase the same.
Inspired by the Season 1 winner, 8-year-old Amarachi Uyanni, one of the participants in the Lagos audition, 16 year old Favour Sonde, says he is inspired to participate and see how well he far he would go.
“After watching Amarachi won N10 Million naira last year, I was inspired to register for this year audition. If she could participate and win then anybody can win,” he said.
