Gram FM GM Bishir Ahmed with the visiting Katsina NALVEJ delegation

The Katsina State Government has been requested to look inward for the training needs of Journalists in the two state electronic media in the state.
The General Manager of Gram FM, Alhaji Bishir Ahmed, made this request when he received the new leadership of the Katsina State Chapter of the National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ) who visited him in his office in Katsina.
Alhaji Bishir Ahmed observed that Katsina state has been blessed with veteran Journalists that would meet the training requirements of staff of Katsina State Ministry of Information (MOI), Katsina State Radio Service (KTRS) and Katsina State Television (KTTV).
He noted that in the past, government sponsor Journalists to obtain training at Federal Radio Training school in Ikoyi, Television Training College in Jos and the Public Relations Training Institute, Kaduna among others.
He expressed gratitude to the leadership of NALVEJ for the visit and assured that the Management of Gram FM radio station would collaborate with the league to obtain lofty heights in the profession.
Earlier, the state chairman of NALVEJ, Alhaji Mansir Lawal Kaware, spoke at length on composition of the National League of Veteran Journalists.
The League Chairman requested for closer working relationship between the Management of Gram FM radio station and NALVEJ for the progress of the Journalism profession in the state.
He expressed appreciation to the management of the station for the warm reception accorded to NALVEJ leadership during the visit.
