The new Nigerian tourism queens
Four new Nigerian tourism and beauty queens have emerged following the successful staging of the Miss Tourism Nigeria and Miss Cosmo Nigeria 2026 Grand Finale, held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Skyview @ The Lekki Coliseum, Lagos.
The highly anticipated Game of Crowns 2026 brought together contestants from across Nigeria to compete for four national titles, combining beauty, tourism advocacy, cultural representation, leadership and purpose under the theme “Peace Through Tourism.”
Representing Abia State, Precious Amogu emerged as Miss Tourism Nigeria 2026, with Veronica Adoga of Benue State emerging as her runner-up.
Damilola Remi-Fakoya, representing Lagos State, was crowned Miss Cosmo Nigeria 2026, while Sarah Makinde of Edo State emerged as runner-up.
In the Miss Tourism Africa Nigeria category, Omega Richard of Taraba State emerged winner, with Deborah Emmanuel of Ondo State as runner-up.
Meanwhile, Eloho Eric, representing Delta State, was crowned International Tourism Queen Nigeria 2026, with Ruth Efretuei of Akwa Ibom State emerging as runner-up.
Beyond the crowns, the competition placed significant emphasis on tourism, culture, leadership, social impact and the ability of young Nigerians to serve as ambassadors for the country.
The newly crowned queens and king will now take their respective platforms to the international stage.
Precious Amogu, Miss Tourism Nigeria 2026, will represent Nigeria at the Miss Tourism World competition in China later this year.
Damilola Remi-Fakoya, Miss Cosmo Nigeria 2026, will represent Nigeria at the Miss Cosmo International competition scheduled to take place from December 2026 into January 2027.
Omega Richard, Mr Tourism Africa Nigeria 2026, will represent Nigeria at the Miss Tourism Africa international competition in Kenya towards the end of the year.
Eloho Eric, International Tourism Queen Nigeria 2026, will also represent Nigeria at the International Tourism Queen competition in China later this year.
The 2026 edition was designed to further position pageantry as a platform for tourism promotion, cultural diplomacy, youth empowerment and national representation, while giving its titleholders opportunities to engage with international tourism and cultural platforms.
The organisers congratulated all the finalists and participants for their dedication throughout the competition and expressed confidence in the new titleholders as they begin their respective international journeys representing Nigeria.
