An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Bayelsa, Dr Kojo Sam, has vowed to deliver 100 per cent votes from Bayelsa East for President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Sam made the pledge when the Bayelsa APC Chairman, Hon. Warman Weri Ogoriba, and members of the State Working Committee visited him in Okpoama, Brass Local Government Area.

The businessman and philanthropist reaffirmed his unwavering support for Tinubu and the APC, promising to mobilise the people of Bayelsa East for the president’s re-election.

He said his support for the APC dated back to the party’s formation in 2013 and was based on its commitment to improving Nigerians’ lives.

Sam commended Tinubu for his economic reforms, saying they were already yielding positive results and contributing to greater stability in the nation’s macroeconomic indices.

He dismissed attempts by opposition parties to make inroads into Bayelsa East, saying residents of Nembe and Brass were fully behind Tinubu’s re-election.

Sam also commended Gov. Douye Diri for his leadership and peaceful disposition, which he said had contributed to strengthening political structures at the grassroots.

He praised Ogoriba for running the affairs of the party transparently and inclusively, saying the approach had given members a greater sense of belonging.

“Today, I had the privilege of hosting the APC State Executive Committee at my country home in Okpoama,” Sam said.

“We had a productive and frank discussion on the future of the party, strengthening our structures and promoting unity ahead of 2027.”

Sam assured the party leadership that Tinubu would secure victory in Bayelsa East during the 2027 presidential election.

Ogoriba described Sam as a critical APC stakeholder whose support had contributed significantly to the party’s electoral successes.

He said the visit was aimed at appreciating Sam for his steadfast contributions, commitment and sacrifices towards advancing the party’s fortunes.

Ogoriba expressed confidence in Sam’s ability to galvanise the people of Bayelsa East and mobilise support for Tinubu’s re-election.

He said the meeting also provided an opportunity for the party leadership to discuss strategies for strengthening its grassroots structures.

The chairman further called for greater unity and cooperation among party stakeholders to enhance the APC’s electoral prospects in Bayelsa State.
