The federal government has called on Nigerians to support Miss World Nigeria 2026, Tamunosoye Karibi-George, also known as Soye, as the 73rd Miss World Festival continues in Vietnam.
The Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, made the appeal via a post on X on Friday.
She praised Karibi-George for representing the country well on the international stage and for using the pageant to highlight issues affecting Nigerian youths.

According to the minister, Karibi-George’s recognition as Africa’s Top Model and her place in the Top 40 have brought pride to the country.
With less than nine hours left to vote, Musawa urged Nigerians to cast their votes and encourage others to do the same, noting that every vote will be crucial in the next stages of the competition.
She also asked citizens to help spread information about the voting process to increase support for the Nigerian contestant.
“Dear Soye, seeing you carry Nigeria’s name with such grace, confidence and purpose on the Miss World stage has made us incredibly proud.
