The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun uploading results of the Osun State governorship election to the INEC Result View (IREV) portal. OrderingCustom Wall Maps
A little over two hours after polls closed, the commission has successfully uploaded results from about 658 polling units (27.49 per cent of the total) to the portal, with Osogbo Local Government recording the highest results.
There are about 3,763 polling units across the 30 local government areas of Osun State, with Osogbo having the highest number at 282, followed by Ife Central with 215 and Ife East with 200.
Ola Oluwa has the lowest number of polling units with 62, followed by Boluwaduro with 74, Atakamusa West with 76, Atakamusa East with 77, and Orolu with 84.
