The Concerned National APC Stakeholders Forum (CNSF) has officially launched its grassroots mobilization strategy for the 2027 general elections, emphasizing a shift toward issue-based campaign over political hostility.

In a move to consolidate support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, the group inaugurated state coordinators on Thursday, tasking them to lead the “Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Canvassers” initiative across all 36 states.

Addressing the newly inaugurated coordinators in Abuja, the National Coordinator of the CNSF, Dr. Dominic Alancha, set a clear tone for the upcoming campaign cycle: the mandate must be won through persuasion, not provocation.

“Our campaign must be a campaign of ideas, engagement, persuasion, and performance—not intimidation or abuse,” Dr. Alancha stated. “We must never engage the people with arrogance. Where Nigerians are angry, we must listen; where they are hopeful, we must strengthen that hope.”

Dr. Alancha emphasized that the strength of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027 will be determined not by rallies in state capitals, but by performance at the ward and polling-unit levels.

He outlined a systematic “bottom-up” mobilization framework for the coordinators, saying they are tasked with identifying local concerns and building credible grassroots networks.

‘’ Members are expected to explain government policies, clarify misinformation with maturity, and acknowledge current economic challenges. Mobilization must be a year-round effort, rather than a seasonal activity limited to election periods. (Daily Trust)
