King Albert Akpomudje SAN, Eyavwien-Alaka I, Ohworode of Olomu
King Albert Akpomudje (SAN), Eyavwien-Alaka I, the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, today, Thursday, August 13, 2026, commenced a tour of the communities in his domain.
The tour which would continue till September is part of activities prelude to the first coronation anniversary of the royal father.
The traditional ruler announced the tour while speaking with newsmen on Wednesday in Olomu Community.
The king had earlier held a general meeting with the chiefs and leaders of the community before engaging newsmen in a physical chat.
The tour is aimed at strengthening the existing bond between the traditional institution and his subjects.
According to the king, the tour will afford him the opportunity to interact with the chiefs, elders, youths, women and other members of the communities.
He said that the visits would also provide him the opportunity to familiarise himself with the people and receive feedback on issues affecting the different communities.
“During the tour, I will be received by community leaders and residents of Olomu Kingdom,” he said.
The first anniversary of the King’s coronation will be held in November.
The royal father will use the occasion to reaffirm his commitment to peace, unity, cultural preservation and sustainable development across the Olomu kingdom.
