Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has suspended Commissioner for Livestock Development, Prof. Omorodion Ignatius Ikponmwosa, and the State Project Coordinator, Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) Project, Mrs. Ikpikhumi Betsy Aghaku, for alleged official infraction.
A statement by Secretary to Edo State Government, Musa Ikhilor, said the suspended officials were directed to hand over all official documents, records, and other government property in their possession relating to the LPRES Project to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Livestock Development, with immediate effect.
“They are further directed to report to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government for a comprehensive debriefing on the LPRES Project.” the statement reads. (The Nation)
