TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has revealed plans to marry his partner, Jarvis, to break a pattern of unmarried relationships in his family.

Appearing on The Honest Bunch Podcast, the 21-year-old content creator said his parents had children without marrying, and he does not want to repeat that.

“My parents had us without getting married, but I want to break that curse. Whether I get married at 30 or now, the responsibilities I’d carry then are the same ones I’ll carry and fulfil starting today,” Peller said.

According to him, he has already told his parents about his plans, but they did not take him seriously at first.

“I told my parents I was going to get married, and they thought it was a joke. I told them I love Jarvis with all my life and that I will marry her,” he added.

Speaking further, Peller said the energetic personality fans see online is largely a character.

He noted that, in private, he is more reserved and focused on business.

“All people see online about me is the character. I’m more mature when I’m alone. If I’m at home alone, I sit down, write things and think about the next thing that will bring money. The only thing I bring to people is the character,” he said.

Peller proposed to Jarvis during a trip to Accra, Ghana, in June, and footage of the moment went viral.

They later announced that their wedding is scheduled for August 1, 2026, and that preparations are already underway. (The Nation)
