Actress Destiny Etiko has spoken out after losing a N5 million bet on the 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.
Etiko disclosed this in an Instagram post on Sunday night, shortly after the match concluded in Spain’s favour.
“First time betting and I lost. Will never try it again. My N5 million is gone. In fact, I’m done watching football. Anxiety almost killed me,” she wrote.
The actress described the experience as stressful, saying the pressure of watching the game with a large sum at stake was overwhelming.
While some followers expressed sympathy, others mocked her prediction.
Several commenters advised her against betting, while others defended Spain’s victory in the final.
