By PRISCILLA OSAJE
Nollywood actress, Omeche Oko, has been hospitalised after surviving a ghastly motorcycle accident on a movie set with his colleague, Michael, a few days before her birthday.
The renowned actress took to her social media platforms in a video clip to express gratitude to God, who made it possible for her to narrowly escape death.
According to her, she actually came close to death, saying that life is “very fragile”, while explaining how the incident left her injured and grateful to be alive.
“Life is very fragile. It could have been a different story, but God said no.
“If you see an actor today, hug them. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is thank you, God,” she wrote.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the video clip showed how Oko was shooting a scene on a bike with her colleague Michael, when the bike rammed into a pole at the movie location in Lagos.
Actor Michael hit his chest on the pole and lost consciousness briefly, while Oko broke one of her legs.
Colleagues and crew members rushed the duo to an undisclosed medical facility for treatment.
NAN also reports that Chinenye Nnebe, along with other colleagues like Mofe Duncan, Alichi Chizzy Mbah, and Nosa Rex, trooped to her comments section to wish her a speedy recovery.
Others producers such as Uche Nancy and Toyosi Etim Effiong thronged to the comments section to send their well wishes. (NAN)
