The opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC) has constituted nine committees ahead of June 20, 2026, governorship election in Ekiti.

The ADC committees under the Ekiti State Governorship Election Campaign Committee include the Election Management Council, the Finance and Fundraising Committee, the Youth Committee, Legal Committee, Media and Publicity Committee, Contact and Mobilisation Committee, Election Monitoring Committee, Women Committee, as well as Protocol/Security Committee.

Membership of the Election Management Council includes former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, a former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, a foremost banker and economist, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, former governors of Cross River and Sokoto states, Liyel Imoke and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.

Others are a former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami; a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha; Emeka Nwajuba, Alhaji Kashim Ibrahim Imam, Chief Ralph Nwosu, Senator Lee Maeba, and Senator Ireti Kingibe, amongst others.
