Train service illustrating holiday travel support

The Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos State will run free buses for residents traveling home for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the council announced Sunday.
In a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the council Chairman Abdullahi Sesan-Olowa said the initiative is to help Muslim residents reunite with family for the festival.
“The buses will pick passengers beginning from Tuesday May 26, at CMS bus stop and Ikorodu garage, to Ibeju-Lekki in five trips,” he said.

NAN reports that the Federal Government had declared Wednesday and Thursday public holidays to mark the Eid-el-Kabir celebration. (NAN)
