Nigerian musician, Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide, has shared that he often feels nervous about performing on stage.
In an interview with YouTuber Korty EO, the rapper explained that the experience is linked to past incidents during live shows that left a lasting impact.
Speaking on the experience, Olamide recalled moments when people unexpectedly approached him on stage, including attempts to grab his chain or hat while he was performing. These experiences, he said, have shaped how he now feels before stepping on stage.
Addressing how it affects him now, the rapper said the memories of those incidents still make him uneasy about future performances.
“I get nervous every time I am going on the stage. I have had too many crazy experiences while performing. Someone from no where will just come and grab your chain or your hat, you don’t even know what to expect,” he explained. (TRIBUNE)
