Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, who is aspiring to represent Anambra central senatorial zone on the APGA platform, has enlisted the support of the Idemili North LGA APGA.

Nwankwo, who had embarked on a tour of all the council areas in the Anambra central senatorial zone to enlist the support of APGA faithful in the areas, ended his tour at the Idemili North LGA Headquarters, Ogidi.

He sought the support of Idemili North LGA APGA, stating, without equivocation, that he was battle-ready to prosecute the electoral battle.

“APGA is one. Idemili is APGA; and APGA is Idemili. So this election battle is yours.

“Together, we shall we go for this election battle. And I am here to tell you that I am battle-ready for the Anambra central senatorial zone election slugfest,” Nwankwo said.

Nwankwo further stated that Idemili North LGA APGA would play pivotal roles for him in his quest to represent Anambra central senatorial zone in the red chambers of the national assembly.

“It is this party, APGA, that will fight for me during the electioneering.

“It will be at the forefront when we start campaign. And we shall, certainly, win the Anambra central senatorial zone election,” Nwankwo said.

Earlier, the mayor of Idemili North LGA, Chief Stanley Nkwoka, had expressed the optimism that APGA would win the Anambra central senatorial zone election while introducing Hon. Dozie Nwankwo to the ‘Solution Vanguard’.

“APGA will win in Idemili North LGA; and Hon. Dozie Nwankwo will win.

“Again, I’d like you to work with ‘Solution Vanguard’. Its members, who are, chiefly, composed of civil servants, played active roles in the re-election of Gov. Chukwuma Charles Soludu for a second term in office,” Nkwoka advised.

Another group, “The Divine Mandate” provided the music with their songs and drum-beating as Hon. Dozie Nwankwo made the rounds of the arena of the event, greeting APGA members, and acknowledging cheers from the people.

Some of the APGA stalwarts in Idemili North LGA who attended the event were Chief Lemmy Ekwo, APGA Chairman, Idemili North; Chief Chuks Brown Igboanua, former Idemili North LGA TC Chairman; Hon. Ifeanyi Chiekwu, one-time member of the Anambra state Assembly; and others.
