The missing Precious Ayidau Jessu
Concern is mounting over the disappearance of Precious Ayidau Jessu, a Mass Communication student at the University of Jos.
According to her associates, she left home on April 13, 2026, for her examinations and was dropped off at Farin Gada Roundabout by her father and has not been seen or heard from since then.
Precious lived with her parents in Guratop, beside Wisdom Prestige Private School Junction, Rayfield, Jos.
Her disappearance has raised concern among her family, friends, and the wider community.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to report to the nearest police station or contact her parents on 08033953447.
The family appealed to the public for assistance in locating her. “Your assistance in sharing this information and helping to locate her will be greatly appreciated. Please help bring Precious home safely.”
When contacted, the Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Alfred Alabo, said he could not comment on the case as he had not been briefed.
According to him, the parents of the missing student should first confirm that they have reported the matter to a Divisional Police Officer (DPO), who can then be contacted for comments.
Alabo added that it is the responsibility of the DPO handling the case to brief him before he can respond.
“Don’t put too many things on one person. I cannot say yes or no. I have not been briefed. Follow the proper channel,” he said. (The Guardian, excluding headline)
