The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that its National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, will participate in a nationwide live media chat today, April 15, 2026, to address Nigerians on key national issues.
The Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy to the APC National Chairman, Abimbola Tooki, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, noting that the engagement is part of efforts to strengthen public communication and accountability.
According to Tooki, “the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the National Secretary of the Party will… participate in a Nationwide Live Media Chat to address Nigerians on critical issues of national importance.”
The live broadcast is scheduled to air from 8pm to 10pm on Arise News, with audiences across the country and beyond expected to tune in.
Tooki said the party’s top leadership would speak on governance priorities, national stability, party direction, and other matters affecting the country.
“During the engagement, the party’s top leadership will speak on key national issues, governance priorities, party direction, and matters relating to the continued progress and stability of the nation,” he stated.
He added that the media chat reflects the APC leadership’s commitment to transparency and sustained engagement with Nigerians.
“This media chat forms part of the APC leadership’s commitment to transparent engagement, public accountability, and sustained communication with Nigerians on issues affecting the country and the future of democratic governance,” Tooki said.
He urged members of the public, party faithful, stakeholders, and the media to participate by tuning in to the live broadcast.
