President Tinubu
The immediate past publicity secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kano, Comrade Saidu Bello Said, has predicted a decisive defeat for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking in a recent interview, Said said growing dissatisfaction among Nigerians over governance and economic conditions would significantly influence voting patterns.
He asserted that many citizens were disillusioned with the current administration and would express their frustrations at the polls.
“Nigerians will never vote for Tinubu in the coming election. They are tired. Democracy is not being respected,” he said.
The former ADC spokesperson further made a bold prediction about the election outcome, stating, “Tinubu will lose the election before 10:00 am.”
He also Issued a controversial remark, saying, “Whoever votes for Tinubu, especially in the North, will be found at the bottom of hell.”
On internal party matters, Said noted that the ADC in Kano State was undergoing efforts to reposition itself following recent political realignments, including the defection of former NNPP leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
According to him, the party remains focused on strengthening its structure ahead of the 2027 elections.
“The party will get its house in order before 2027,” he added.
Said also criticised the Federal Government’s economic policies, particularly the recent increase in fuel prices, questioning the rationale behind the move.
“For example, fuel price has increased when there’s no reason for that. Nigeria’s budget was pegged at $70, but with the recent war, it has increased. What is being done for Nigerians?” he queried.
He urged Nigerians to view the 2027 elections as an opportunity to effect change, calling on citizens to “save themselves from the clutches of APC” through the ballot box. (Nigerian Tribune)
