•Hails ace trumpeter Zeal Onyia

Crown prince of Ekobe music, Azuka Moweta and his Anioma Brothers Band of Africa, have just dropped another banger of an album — “Kenechukwu”.

This comes about a year after the release of Ekobe Global which became mince meat for international rockers of African sound globally including in Europe and the Americas.

This new album of vintage seven tracks of fusion of Ekobe Asaba sound with regular highlife sound such as Kenechukwu with other tracks like Izunwanne ka, Odogwu Ahaba, Onye zusia, which is the tribute to famous Trumpeter Zeal Onyia.

The album also contains Ndi Di Mma, Ogalanya sound system, an instrumental and Nyem Nkem.

Aside paying glowing tribute to his compatriot ace Trumpeter Zeal Onyia, Moweta also eulogised Asagba of Asaba, HRM Epiphany Azinge and the Late Chief Obi Nwanze Oduah (Odogwu Ahaba) making Kenechukwu an album of gratitude to God and tributes to good people.

It is also seen as one of the most celebrated albums of Asaba especially during this period of social activities in the Delta state capital.

As usual Odogwu Entertainment and Palenque Records, producers of the new hot album by Azuka Moweta seemed to have left no stones unturned to deliver what many consider best sound of the year with direct impact on the people as well as filling the dancehall spirit of diaspora people.

Nnamdi Moweta, Founder and head at Odogwu Entertainment producers of Osita Osadebe's ground breaking Kedu America album noted " Azuka has worked so hard since release of the last album to make this new body of work possible. For the first time Ekobe music by Azuka Moweta has a brass section of horns included. I dare say that this is vintage and promises to make a huge social impact.

Lucas Da silva of Palenque Records gladly stated that "we are happy for the relationship we have with Odogwu which helps us discover hidden African talents and showcase them through Album recording and marketing.

Kenechukwu Ibedu, creative Director at Odogwu Entertainment who supervised the production and was also the Artiste & Repertoire (A&R) hinted that Kenechukwu is a masterpiece of a production. We are yet to see the best of Azuka Moweta.

The album was Executive Produced by Nnamdi Moweta, Kenechukwu Ibedu and Lucas Silva. And it is currently streaming on all music platforms globally. The studio Engineer remains Ijele Amichi. It was recorded in Anambra State, Nigeria.

As usual, world class DJ Captain Plannet who already created a great remix of Izunwanne Ka for the dancehall says the taste of the pudding baked by Azuka Moweta and His Anioma Brothers Band of Africa is in your dancing feet on the dance floor.
