Nollywood actor Kolawole Ajeyemi has publicly shown support for his wife, Toyin Abraham, following an incident involving actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele at a movie premiere.

According to reports, a video from the event showed Toyin approaching Funke to greet her. However, Funke looked away and did not respond. Toyin then greeted Iyabo Ojo and other guests before leaving the scene.

After the controversy that trailed the incident, Kolawole Ajeyemi shared a message on Instagram expressing his support and appreciation for his wife.

He wrote:“Oluwatoyin Abraham aya mi 🤍 I love you @toyin_abraham thank you for always listening to me 👂 I know you want to talk but hmmmmmmm💔💔 Afi suru 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ Thanks everyone God bless you all we love you.”

Toyin replied with a message of her own, saying:

“Oshey Oko mi and I will always listen and obey you my small god. I love you forever 😍😍”

The cause of the situation between Toyin AbAraham and Funke Akindele has not been confirmed. However, there have been reports of tension between the two actresses over the years.

In 2024, Toyin mentioned that rumours had fueled competition between them.

Following the premiere, both actresses also unfollowed each other on Instagram, adding to ongoing discussions around their relationship. (Nigerian Tribune)
