Zarttech corporate office
Zarttech has issued a public apology to partners, clients, and individuals affected by its operations as it formally ends its business activities. The company said it recognised the challenges encountered during its journey and emphasised the importance of accountability, transparency, and respect toward all stakeholders.
Founded with the mission to bridge the global tech talent gap, Zarttech connected skilled information technology professionals from Africa, South America, and Europe with international opportunities, aiming to remove barriers that often limit access to global work. Over the years, the company promoted fairness in technology recruitment and worked to highlight the expertise of African developers on the global stage.
“While the company’s chapter has come to an end, the impact of the conversations it helped spark about African talent, global collaboration, and opportunity without borders continues to shape the technology industry,” the statement on Tuesday read.
Beyond business operations, Zarttech supported initiatives to empower women in technology across Africa through training and educational programmes, reinforcing its belief in inclusive access to opportunity.
The company’s closure marks the end of its direct operations, but its efforts are credited with contributing to a broader shift in the global perception of African tech talent and innovation.
Zarttech was headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands, and worked to connect businesses with emerging technology professionals while promoting inclusive access to global work opportunities. (The PUNCH, but headline rejigged)
