Comr Ukueku and Mayor Agimor
National President of the Niger Delta Youth For Good Governance (NDYFGG), Comr. Lucky O.O Ukueku, has expressed surprise over the non-recognition of the contributions of the Mayor of Urhobo Land, His Worship Dr. Israel Eshanekpe Agimor.
In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, Comr. Ukueku expressed his appreciation for the Mayor’s tireless efforts in promoting and defending the Urhobo Nation. “It is unfortunate that the Urhobo people do not value their own, otherwise the Delta State Governor would have worked closely with the Mayor,” he said.
Comr. Ukueku noted that the Mayor’s loyalty and dedication to the current administration, demonstrated during the 2023 elections, deserved recognition and reward. “The Mayor is a man of principle, who has consistently shown loyalty to the highest order. It is disappointing that his efforts have seemingly gone unnoticed by the government,” he stated.
He urged the Nigerian President and the Delta State Governor to recognize the Mayor’s contributions and reward him accordingly. "Mr. President, do not listen to malicious reports against the Mayor. He has used his foundation to help many in your name. If the Governor of Delta State is honest, the Mayor should have been rewarded by now,” Comr. Ukueku appealed.
The statement concluded with a call for the government to acknowledge the Mayor’s selfless service and accord him the recognition he deserves.
