The Opposition Watch Nigeria (OWN) has called on the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) and the National Judicial Council (NJC) to immediately commence a comprehensive investigation into allegations of undeclared bank accounts and age falsification leveled against the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho.

The civil society organisation, which described itself as a watchdog committed to judicial transparency and executive accountability, said the allegations are weighty and touch on issues of corruption, professional misconduct and constitutional breaches capable of eroding public confidence in the judiciary.

In a statement on Fridayin Abuja by its Media Coordinator, Aisha Bello, OWN said the claims, already circulating in the public domain, must not be ignored, given the sensitivity of the office occupied by the Chief Judge. (The Guardian)
