The Civil Liberties Organization (CLO), Anambra State Branch, has expressed optimism that 2026 will usher in peace, prosperity and renewed hope for residents of the state.
In a New Year message issued in Awka on Thursday, January 1, 2026, the organisation said it was confident the year would bring stability, goodwill and improved wellbeing to households across Anambra State.
The statement was jointly signed by the Chairman of the organisation, Evangelist Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, AMBP-UN, and the Secretary, Comrade Chidi Mbah.
“May 2026 bring new hope, abundant blessings, wisdom, grace, peace, goodwill, good health and wealth,” the organisation said.
It further expressed hope that the year would strengthen unity and peaceful coexistence among residents.
“May the joy, love, peace and grace of the New Year be upon every household beyond measure,” the statement added.
The CLO reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare and fundamental rights of the people of Anambra State, noting that it would continue to promote justice, civic responsibility and social harmony in the year ahead.
