American Rapper, Gunna on Monday night delivered a thrilling performance that lit up Ilubirin in Lagos, drawing a massive crowd of excited music lovers.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the concert stretched into the early hours of Tuesday as fans thronged the Ilubirin to witness an electrifying blend of global and African sounds.
The event which celebrated music, culture and live entertainment, offered an immersive experience as top international and Nigerian artistes thrilled the audience with high-energy performances.
It was an unforgettable night of excitement as Gunna mounted the stage to roaring cheers, delivering a string of his hit songs that kept fans singing along and dancing deep into the night.
The Atlanta-born rapper thrilled the crowd with tracks from his extensive catalogue, combining smooth delivery with a commanding stage presence that further heightened the atmosphere at the venue.
The performance was further spiced up with a surprise guest appearance by Nigerian superstar Wizkid, whose entrance sent the crowd into a frenzy.
Wizkid thrilled fans with a brief but powerful performance, drawing loud sing-alongs as he joined Gunna on stage in a moment that blended global hip-hop with Afrobeats flair.
Earlier in the night, Nigerian singer Teni thrilled the audience with her vibrant stage presence and popular songs, delivering a lively set that kept the crowd fully engaged.
Jamaican star, Shenseea also thrilled fans with an energetic performance, bringing dancehall vibes to the Ilubirin stage and igniting excitement with her powerful vocals and choreography.
Some fun seekers who spoke with NAN expressed excitement at witnessing live performances from both international and local stars.
Ayo Adeniyi, a music enthusiast, said the concert exceeded expectations.
“Gunna was amazing, but seeing Wizkid come out was the highlight of the night as the energy was crazy,” he said.
Also, Pelumi Ogunlewe, who attended the event with his girlfriend, described the concert as unforgettable.
“Teni and Shenseea really set the mood before Gunna came on. The whole night was pure vibes,” he said.
Similarly, Sharon Nwachukwu described the event as refreshing.
“The music, the crowd and the late-night setting made it special. It was a perfect mix of international and African sounds,” he said.
Another attendee, Maryam Kareem, applauded the organisers for a well-coordinated show.
