Air Peace will transition all regional flights to daytime operations from February 2, 2026, enhancing connectivity and passenger convenience
Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading airline and one of Africa’s fastest-growing carriers, is pleased to announce a major enhancement to its regional network with the transition of all regional operations from night-time services to daytime flights, with effect from February 2, 2026.
The airline said the move is aimed at improving passenger convenience, operational efficiency and regional connectivity, while offering schedules that better align with domestic and long-haul departures from Lagos.
In a statement issued in Lagos, Air Peace explained that the new daytime structure would strengthen its regional network across West Africa, enhance on-time performance and provide passengers with more competitive and predictable travel options.
Under the revised schedule, flights from Lagos will now connect major regional destinations including Accra, Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Monrovia and Freetown through carefully sequenced daytime rotations operating on selected weekdays.
The airline said the transition would also improve connectivity to night-time long-haul services, making Lagos a stronger aviation hub for business, government and leisure travel across West and Central Africa.
According to Air Peace, the daytime operations are expected to enhance passenger comfort, improve schedule reliability and support intra-African trade, tourism and mobility.
The carrier also confirmed plans to expand its regional footprint before the end of the first quarter of operations, with proposed new routes to Douala, Libreville, Kinshasa, Conakry, Bamako and Johannesburg.
Air Peace said bookings for the new daytime regional services are now open through authorised travel agencies, its website and approved sales channels, reiterating its commitment to safe, reliable and competitive air travel across Africa. (ARISE NEWS)
