APC to hold national caucus, NEC meetings December 15, 16




The ruling All Progressives Congress has officially announced meetings of its National Caucus and National Executive Committee, scheduled to hold on Monday, 15th December 2025, and Tuesday, 16th December 2025, respectively.

Both meetings are set to take place at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, FCT.

This is according to an official notice signed by the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, shared on the party website on Wednesday.

The National Caucus meeting will convene on Monday, 15th December 2025, at 6:00 pm. The National Caucus is one of the organs of the party under Article 11 of the APC Constitution.

The caucus will bring together key party stakeholders, including the “National Chairman, Deputy National Chairmen (North and South), National Secretary, Deputy National Secretary, National Legal Adviser,

“National Treasurer, National Organising Secretary, National Woman Leader, National Youth Leader, National Leader of Persons Living with Disabilities, past and present Presidents and Vice Presidents of Nigeria who are party members, presidential and vice-presidential candidates,

“Past and present Senate and House leaders, serving and past Governors, state party chairmen, former National Chairmen and Secretaries, Zonal Chairmen, and other designated representatives.

“All Members of the National Caucus are by this invitation to TAKE NOTICE of the meeting in accordance with Article 11.5 of the Constitution,” the notice stated.

The NEC meeting is slated for Tuesday, 16th December 2025, at 12:00 PM. The NEC is one of the organs of the party under Article 13.1 of the APC Constitution.

The NEC will include “the National Chairman, Deputy National Chairmen (North and South), National Secretary, Deputy National Secretary, National Legal Adviser, Deputy Legal Adviser, National Treasurer

“Deputy Treasurer, National Organising Secretary, Deputy Organising Secretary, National Financial Secretary, National Publicity Secretary, National Auditor, Deputy Auditor, Deputy Welfare Secretary

“National Woman and Youth Leaders, Deputy Leaders, State Chairmen, zonal representatives, and members elected by the National Convention, among others.

“All Members of the National Executive Committee are by this invitation to TAKE NOTICE of the meeting in accordance with Article 12.3 of the APC Constitution,” the notice added. (PUNCH)
