Edo Assembly Commission cancels 324 new employment

The Edo House of Assembly Service Commission has recalled employment letters issued to 324 individuals by the Commission.

This contained in a statement made available to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Benin.

The statement was jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Commission, Sir Ezehi Igbas and Isoken Nehi- Olotu respectively.

The statement described the recent issuance of the employment letters as “unauthorized, illegal, and unlawful, rendering them null, void, and of no effect.”

The Commission apologised to all recipients and regrets any inconvenience caused to those affected. (NAN)
