The Wheatbaker to host HELLO! Nigeria Magazine launch

The exclusive Wheatbaker Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria, has been announced as the host venue for the launch of HELLO! Magazine’s first Sub-Saharan version, HELLO! Nigeria.

“HELLO! Is a leading society and lifestyle publication in terms of both quality, content and reputation,” says Simon Grinrod, General Manager for The Wheatbaker Lagos. “The high-profile and credibility of HELLO! is well known by social leaders and reflects the lifestyles of our distinguished patrons.”

The prestigious venue, one of several luxury boutique hotels owned by South Africa’sLegacy Hotel Group, was the clear choice for the European based publication’s first Sub-Saharan event, according to a press statement by the event’s organisers.

The statement quotes Anne Omezi,Managing Director of True Tales Publications, publishers of HELLO! Nigeria, as saying: “The Wheatbaker Hotel embodies the same passion for excellence, celebration of good times, and love of luxury that HELLO! is known for globally.”

The synergy between these two premium brands was also cited as the driving force behind the partnership by Simon Grinrod, General Manager of the hotel and spa, Simon Grinrod.

His words: “We are very pleased to play a part in the long-awaited launch of this premium publication. It is high time West Africa, and Nigeria in particular, enjoyed a home-grown edition.”

Grinrod went on to expand on the potential impact of HELLO! Nigeria in West Africa’s cultural landscape, saying:
