National President of the Niger Delta Youth For Good Governance (NDYFGG), Comr. Lucky O. O. Ukueku, has called on the Delta State Government and the people of Bomadi and Patani constituency to reject the candidacy of Rt. Hon. Mutu Nicolas in the 2027 elections.

Ukueku in a press statement issued in Abuja on Thursday, November 6, 2025, expressed disappointment with Rt. Hon. Mutu's 26 years of service as a House Representative, citing alleged lack of benefits and opportunities for Bomadi non-indigenes. He challenged Hon. Mutu to provide evidence of any Bomadi non-indigene who has benefited from his leadership.

Ukueku also cited “Hon. Mutu's 26 years of service with no tangible benefits to the community.”

He urged Bomadi non-indigenes and the people of Bomadi and Patani constituency to reject Hon. Mutu's candidacy.

Comr. Ukueku announced plans to support alternative candidates, including Comr. Pampes Peter Etolor, whom he believes will recognize and include Bomadi non-indigenes in the political process.

"As a non-indigene coordinator in Bomadi LGA, I was appointed as the first non-indigene to become a party EXCO member. Despite this, Bomadi non-indigenes continue to be marginalized in the political process. We will no longer support leaders who fail to recognize our contributions," Ukueku said.
