Ademola Lookman got into a brief altercation with his own manager after being substituted during the Champions League match against Marseille on Wednesday night.
Lookman, 28, came off the pitch in the home game and looked unhappy about it, and this led to a brief exchange of words with Atalanta manager Ivan Juric.
Juric was visibly angered by Lookman’s demeanour and grabbed him fiercely before CEO Luca Percassi and teammate Marten de Roon on the bench intervened to prevent further escalation.
Lookman looked shocked at Juric getting physical with him, and after the game, both men exchanged words again, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.
It remains unclear whether their conversation was to smooth things over or continue their dispute.
The match ended 1-0 in favour of Atalanta. (THE SUN)
