Boxing icon Mike Tyson has described his recent visit to the Democratic Republic of Congo as a “life-changing experience,” expressing deep admiration for the country and its people.

In a post shared on X on Friday, Tyson said he was moved by his time in the Central African nation, where he met President Félix Tshisekedi.

“My trip to Congo was a life-changing experience. The people there are beautiful! I look forward to returning. Very thankful to have met the president, @Presidence_RDC,” Tyson wrote.

The former heavyweight champion’s visit to the DRC reportedly included cultural tours and engagements aimed at strengthening sports and entertainment ties between the country and global figures.
