The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has fixed Oct. 14 for its Computer-Based Test (CBT) recruitment examination for superintendent cadre applicants across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
NCS made the announcement on the service’s verified X handle and Facebook page on Friday.
The service said the final CBT examination for all the successful superintendent cadre applicants would take place simultaneously across designated states and centres in line with candidates’ states of origin.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the successful candidates are those whose documents have been verified and who have taken both the pre-test and the live test.
NAN recalls that the CBT recruitment examinations for Inspectorate and Customs Assistant cadres was held on Oct. 9.
The publication stated that candidates who were successful at the previous stages were required to log in with their National Identification Number (NIN) via https://updates.customs.gov.ng to access their examination details, including their assigned centres.
They were also required to print their coloured examination slips for presentation at the venues.
“The examination will be conducted concurrently in the following designated centres across the zones:
“South-West: Lagos and Osun; South-East: Enugu and Abia; South-South: Rivers and Edo; North-Central: Abuja and Kwara; North-East: Bauchi and Adamawa and North-West: Kaduna and Sokoto.
“Candidates must report strictly to their assigned examination centres as indicated on their slips. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
“Further details and specific instructions regarding the examination process will be communicated through the Recruitment Update Portal,” it stated.
The service emphasised that this stage was strictly for successful applicants of the Superintendent Cadre. (NAN)
