The Super Eagles training at the camp

A total of 18 Super Eagles players have arrived at the team’s training camp in Polokwane, South Africa, ahead of Thursday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.
Super Eagles Media Officer, Promise Efoghe, confirmed the development to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday.
NAN reports that the team camp officially opened on Monday at The Ranch Hotel in Polokwane.
Efoghe said 15 players had arrived by Tuesday morning.
He said two more joined in the afternoon, while Benjamin Frederick’s arrival in the evening brought the total to 18.
He added that the coaches and backroom staff were already in camp since on Monday, while more players were expected to arrive via Johannesburg.
According to him, the team’s first training session began at 6 p.m. local time on Tuesday (today).
Players already in camp include William Troost-Ekong, Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Chrisantus Uche, Wilfred Ndidi, and Bruno Onyemaechi.
Others are Terem Moffi, Moses Simon, Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Frank Onyeka, and Tolu Arokodare.
Also present are Semi Ajayi, Stanley Nwabali, Adebayo Adeleye, Amas Obasogie, and Benjamin Frederick. (NAN)
