Suspected kidnappers have abducted Dr Muhammed Egye Osolafia, the Senior Special Assistant on Humanitarian Services to Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State.
The kidnapping reportedly took place on Saturday night at Tudun Amba in Lafia, with the gunmen shooting sporadically in the air while whisking away the victim, who was about to enter his residence.
The Incident was confirmed by Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Affairs, Peter Ahemba, who addressed members of the press on Sunday.
Ahemba called the abduction “sad and unfortunate.”
The latest kidnapping comes two months after the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Culture, Barrister Yusuf Musa, was taken in Ungwan Nungu, Lafia. (Sunday Sun, excluding headline)
