Veteran Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu, has in a trending online video, advised people, particularly the youths, not to sacrifice their lives for relationships.

In the viral clip, Agu said, “Don’t die to save a relationship; instead kill the relationship to save your life. Love shouldn’t come at the cost of your life.”

His remarks have sparked reactions online.

One user wrote: “He spoke the truth, though not easy to heed in reality…”

Another user added: “Na who dey alive dey do relationship. Staying alive is the key, no allow yeye love make you kpai.”

Born in 1956 in Enugu State, Chiwetalu Agu is widely known for his witty slang and expressions in Nollywood films.
