The Incident occurred on Sunday night and affected mostly women and children of Irigwe extraction.

Joseph Chudu Yonkpa, the national publicity secretary of the IYM, called on the Federal Government, Kaduna State Government, Plateau State Government and Kauru Local Government Council to take immediate measures to protect Irigwe communities.
“The leadership of Irigwe Youth Movement uses this medium to call on relevant authorities to intervene by making sure the lives of Irigwe people and our communities are well protected,” he said.
