Isuikwuato Development Union, National, has congratulated retired Brig.-Gen. NVU Nnorom, Ph.D on his recent appointment as the Chairman of Abia State Homeland Security Board by Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Oti.

A statement issued on Thursday, jointly signed by the union President General, Chidiebere Uguru JP, and Secretary General, Enyioma Ekebuike, described the constitution of the security board and the appointment of the Isuikwuato-born security expert as “novel and at the same time the right way to go in curbing the security upsurges mitigating against the advancement of the state.”

The union noted that Brig.-Gen. NVU Nnorom “has the right trainings and wealth of experience needed to properly position and give the Abia State Homeland Security the precise strategic and tactical policy direction for enhance coverage of the agencies operational areas.”

The union equally used the medium to express appreciation to Governor Oti “for the opportunity given to our illustrious son to be part of his team in making Abia State a safe haven to live and for businesses.”
