The Nigerian Army College of Nursing, Myhoung Barracks, Yaba Lagos
The Nigerian Army College of Nursing, located at Myhoung Barracks, Yaba – Lagos, has announced the commencement of admissions for its National Diploma (ND)/Higher National Diploma (HND) and Community Nursing programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. Admission is open to military, paramilitary personnel, and civilians.
Application Period and Accessing Forms:
Applications for the programmes will be available online starting Monday, June 23, 2025, and will close on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Prospective candidates can access the admission forms on the college’s official website: www.nacon.edu.ng.
Admission Requirements:
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Possess a minimum of five (5) credits in their O-level result (WASSCE/GCE/NECO) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. These credits must be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings for both ND/HND and Community Nursing programmes.
Be between the ages of 18 and 25 years by October 2025.
Be a Nigerian by birth.
Have sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2025 and scored a minimum of 160 marks for ND/HND Nursing and 130 marks for Community Nursing (CN).

Programme Duration:
The ND/HND Nursing programme spans four (4) years, while the Community Nursing programme is a two (2) year course.
Screening Examination Details:
A screening examination for all applicants is scheduled to take place from August 18th to August 21st, 2025, at the NACON Complex. Students are advised to adhere strictly to the date and time specified for their screening examination.
