A political group, Team New Nigeria (TNN), has expressed its intention to transform into a full fledged political party in Nigeria.

National President of the team, Modibbo Farakwai, who spoke at the public presentation of the party at the Sani Abacha Stadium, said the proposed party would usher in good governance in Nigeria

?Today. we gather to re-ignite and re-affirm the dreams of our forebears led by Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe. Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and many founders of our great nation? he stated

He expressed optimism that the new party would address Nigeria?s challenges, including insecurity and hardship in the land.

He added that Nigerians cannot afford to endure an additional day beyond May 29th of the mismanagement of the present Tinubu administration.

Farakwai claimed that TNN has already registered 43 million members and was prepared to establish a political party that will promote human rights and good rights.

He later inaugurated state harmonisation structures and mobilisation committee for the North West states.

In his remarks, the National Chairman of the team, Garba Waziri urged the members of the committee to strengthen their mobilization efforts at the grassroots and ensure public participation in the decision making process. (Daily Sun)
