The victim, Ayoola Idowu
Ayoola Idowu is pleading for justice after allegedly losing his sight due to a radiotherapy session at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. According to Idowu, during one of his radiotherapy treatments after a surgical procedure, he realized his eyes were left uncovered. Following the session, his vision began to blur, eventually leading to total blindness. Despite reaching out to the hospital through his lawyer, he claims to have received no response.
Idowu seeks compensation from the hospital for the damage done and hopes for assistance to undergo surgery that could restore his vision. (The PUNCH)
