Anambra State on Sunday recorded its first kidnap incident in the month of November as a yet-to-be-identified man was reportedly kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.
The kidnap Incident, which reportedly took place at Alor community in Idemili South Local Government Area of the state, was said to have occurred at about 6:47pm.
A trending video on social media which corroborated the kidnap incident, showed a vehicle abandoned on the road side, said to belong to the kidnap victim.
The video showed the car with plate number: EKY-102GK, and some blood stains on different parts of it, which some eyewitnesses in the background of the video said was the blood of the victim.
The voice In the video said: ?The owner of this car has been kidnapped. He was badly beaten and bundled into the boot of their car and zoomed off.
?Here is his plate number (showed it to the camera)?. Anyone that knows him should reach his people.
Efforts to reach the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Ikenga Tochukwu, to react to the incident proved abortive, as he was yet to respond to the message of inquiry sent to him at the time of filing this report.
