Engr. Solormy Ochokwu, the proprietor of Choice De Immaculate Demonstration Secondary School, Obosi (CIDS), has expressed effusive thanks to prominent Obosi indigenes and organisations that sponsored awards given to the outgoing students of the school.

He expressed his thankfulness to the donors/sponsors on the occasion of the school?s send forth and students? awards event, which took place on the expansive premises of the school.

?The students and staff of this school and I are grateful to those who made contributions for this grand event,

?Our earnest prayer is that God shall reward them, bountifully; and that God shall continue taking our school, The Great CIDS, to greater heights,? Ochokwu said.

During the event, the graduating students, who were delirious with joy, had a swell time dancing ecstatically and energetically to songs.

And they gave presentations, which entertained the attendees and educated them on diverse existential matters.

One of the presenters, Miracle Chinweze, gave presentations to show that ladies, who bare their erogenous zones, are engaging in an amoral and immoral act that debases womanhood and promotes prostitution in our society.

She also gave hard knocks to male youths, who engage in substance abuse, saying, unequivocally, that those who take mind-bending drugs are susceptible to suffering insanity.

As the event wore on, the 2024 graduating students of CIDS received gifts of travelling bags, which would serve as mementoes of their participation in the grand event.

Choice De Immaculate Demonstration School, Obosi, Anambra state, which the graduating students bade good bye, is a co-educational secondary school that was founded in 2006.

It got authorisation to become a centre for such school certificate examinations as NECO and WAEC many years ago; and it has been participating in quiz and spelling bee competitions in Anambra state.

The great CIDS got a boost when illustrious sons of Obosi gave financial support to it for bankrolling the awards given to the 2024 graduating students, who performed spectacularly in school subjects and in other areas like neatness, punctuality, hard work, good behaviour, and others.

The donors/sponsors were Pharm. Obi Egbuonye, Mr. Obi Umegbolu, Dr. Chudi Ugona, Adimma Onochie, Barr. Kingsley Onochie, Eric Anyamene Foundation, Igboebisi Empowerment Foundation, Barr. Chimezie Obi, Prof. Nnamdi Onyire, Idemili North Transformation Project, Mr. Chuma Nwike, Nze Ufeze Ebuka, Tony Best Iwebo, and Tochukwu Obienu.
