People?s Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders in North-West geo-political zone on Friday applauded the forthrightness of governors elected on the platform of the party.

They also praised them for their solid support for Ambassador Umar Damagum as the National Chairman of the People?s Democratic Party (PDP).

??This decision has again, demonstrated the avowed commitment of our governors to purge our party of selfish manipulations and outright illegalities in order to foster unity in our political family??

In a message to North-Central PDP leaders, the North-West stakeholders took a swipe at some desperate politicians in the country.

They ruled out the possibility of having another national chairman before the party?s next convention.

??Alhaji Umar Damagum is resolute and firm. He is doing good work in the party and should be allowed to continue his good work as the party?s national chairman??.

The stakeholders? message was read by the North-West Chairman of PDP Patriots, Alhaji Sule Mustapha.

Particularly, the stakeholders lauded Damagum for his leadership and dedication.

They praised him for promoting the ideals of PDP, raising the prestige of the opposition party and bringing about fundamental changes.

??Alhaji Umar Damagum is a party man to the core. He is strategizing on how to return the PDP to power in 2027??

They also accused mischief-makers of creating false narrative, telling deliberate lies and engineering actions to put the PDP in disarray.

??Some people want confusion in the party because they can only thrive on it??

The message stressed the chairman?s high degree of honesty, organizational prowess and discipline.

The North-West PDP stakeholders recently raised a team to rally support through the length and breadth of the country for Alhaji Umar Damagum who is seen as the stabilizer of the country?s leading opposition party.
