Nigerian-born British heavyweight boxer, Anthony Joshua has revealed that his career was impacted positively after following the advice football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo gave to him.

According to him, the unexpected encounter between Anthony Joshua and Cristiano Ronaldo took place in Riyadh, where the former world heavyweight champion emerged victorious in a showdown against former UFC champion, Francis Ngannou.

Following the fight, Joshua had the opportunity to converse with Ronaldo, who was in attendance.

Speaking at a recent interview with TNT Sports, Joshua delved into the details of their conversation.

He disclosed that Ronaldo offered insights into his diet and training routine, emphasizing its effectiveness.

Joshua expressed his pride in achieving a full seven hours of sleep after implementing some of Ronaldo’s recommendations, adding that it was a significant moment in his career.

Joshua added, “The regimen he keeps to keep himself healthy. And to be fair, look at that, [I got] seven hours’ sleep after following some of his recommendations.”
