Warri: Two mobile policemen and a driver of an SUV were feared dead Monday night on Jakpa road, Uvwie local government area, Delta state when suspected kidnappers attempted to whisk away a lady in the vehicle.

The state Police spokesman, SP Bright Edafe, said he could not confirm the death of the three, adding that the kidnap attempt was foiled.

Responding to an enquiry from the Vanguard on his WhatsApp the police image maker added that three AK 47 rifles and a vehicle were recovered from the hoodlums who escaped.
